If you are driving from Congaree National Park, start by exiting the park via the Congaree Park Road. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with SC-48 (Bluff Road). Turn left onto SC-48 and follow it until you reach the junction with I-77. Merge onto I-77 North, and continue for about 12 miles. Take exit 27 for SC-9 toward Chester and continue on SC-9 for about 11 miles until you reach SC-51. Turn left onto SC-51 and follow the signs for Huger. After approximately 12 miles, you will see signage for the Palmetto Trail - Swamp Fox Passage. Parking is available at the trailhead.
