Car
From Congaree National Park, exit the park and turn left onto SC-48 E (Congaree Road). Continue on SC-48 E for approximately 4 miles until you reach the intersection with I-77 N. Merge onto I-77 N and continue for about 10 miles. Take exit 18 for I-20 E toward Florence. After about 3 miles, take exit 73 for US-21 N toward Columbia. Merge onto US-21 N and continue for about 4 miles, then take a slight left onto Sumter St. The Town Theatre will be on your right at 1012 Sumter St, Columbia, SC 29201.

From Congaree National Park, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to get to the nearest bus station. The closest bus station is the Columbia Transit Center. Once there, you can take the bus route 1 (Main Street) or route 7 (North Main) towards downtown Columbia. Get off at the stop closest to Sumter St. After getting off the bus, walk south on Sumter St for a few blocks, and you will find the Town Theatre at 1012 Sumter St, Columbia, SC 29201.
