If you are driving, start by heading towards downtown Columbia. Use the nearest major road, such as I-126 or I-20, to reach the city center. Once you're on I-126, take exit 1B for Assembly St. Continue on Assembly St until you reach Main St. Turn right onto Main St and proceed for about 0.5 miles. The Columbia Museum of Art will be on your right at 1515 Main St, located just past the intersection with Hampton St. Look for parking available nearby on the street or in public lots.

For those using public transportation, check the local bus services provided by the Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority (CMRTA). You can take the Bus Route 1 (Main Street) which stops near the museum. Board the bus at a nearby stop and stay on until you reach the stop at Main St and Hampton St. From there, it’s just a short walk north along Main St, and you will find the Columbia Museum of Art on your left at 1515 Main St.
