• Walking

  If you are staying near Central Michigan University, exit the campus and head south on S. Mission St. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach W. Broadway St. Turn left onto W. Broadway St. and walk until you reach S. Main St. Turn right onto S. Main St. and continue for about 0.3 miles. You will see a park on your left; keep going until you reach the intersection with E. Preston St. Turn left onto E. Preston St. and walk for about 0.2 miles. Then, turn right onto S. University Ave. and continue walking straight for another 0.4 miles, crossing intersections until you reach the corner of S. University Ave. and E. High St. From there, you can follow the signs towards downtown, which will eventually lead you to a bus stop or a taxi stand.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  Locate the nearest bus stop in Mount Pleasant, such as the one on S. Mission St. and W. Broadway St. You can catch the CMU Bus Service or Isabella County Transportation Commission (ICTC) bus. Make sure to check the bus schedule beforehand. Take the bus that goes towards downtown Mount Pleasant. Stay on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the final stop in downtown. Once you disembark, head towards the waterfront area; Chucktown Tours is located at 1 Vendue Range, just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from any local rental shop in Mount Pleasant. Start from the rental shop and head south on S. Mission St. Follow this road until you reach the intersection at W. Broadway St. Turn left and continue cycling until you reach S. Main St. Turn right and cycle for about 0.3 miles. You will then reach the park; continue straight until you reach E. Preston St. Turn left and cycle on E. Preston St. for about 0.2 miles. Finally, turn right onto S. University Ave. and continue cycling for another 0.4 miles until you reach downtown, where Chucktown Tours is located.
