From downtown Beaufort, walk to the nearest bus stop on Carteret Street. Take the Route 1 bus towards Hilton Head Island. Stay on the bus for approximately 45 minutes, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Once you reach the stop at Folly Field Road, disembark and walk approximately 10 minutes down Folly Field Road directly towards the beach until you reach the Hilton Head Island Beach & Tennis Resort at 40 Folly Field Rd.

If you have a bicycle, you can ride from downtown Beaufort to Hilton Head Island. Start by heading south on Bay Street, then take the bridge towards Lady's Island. Continue straight until you reach SC-170. Follow SC-170 east until you reach the entrance for Hilton Head Island. Once on the island, follow the signs to Folly Field Road and ride directly to 40 Folly Field Rd. The total ride will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Walking from downtown Beaufort to Hilton Head Island is not feasible due to the distance and the need to cross the bridge. From there, you would need to navigate to Folly Field Road, which is a long journey of about 2-3 hours.
