    If you're starting from the center of Hilton Head Island, head towards the main road, William Hilton Parkway (Hwy 278). Follow the bike path along the highway heading east. After about 5 miles, you will reach the Cross Island Parkway. Continue straight until you reach the bridge leading off the island. Cross the bridge, and once you reach Tybee Island, stay on US-80. Follow the signs towards Tybee Island Marine Science Center located at 37 Meddin Dr. Park your bicycle at the designated bike racks when you arrive.

    Start at the nearest bus stop in Hilton Head Island that services the area. You can take the Chatham Area Transit (CAT) buses that connect to the Tybee Island route. Board the bus towards Tybee Island and let the driver know you want to stop at the Tybee Island Marine Science Center. Once you arrive, walk a short distance towards Meddin Dr, and you will see the center at 37 Meddin Dr. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the return trip!
