Continue for about 5 miles; the refuge entrance will be on your right at 21424 N Fraser St. There is no entrance fee, and parking is available. Note that the refuge is open from 8 AM to 4 PM daily.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Charleston to Georgetown. Once you arrive in Georgetown, you will need to use a taxi or rideshare service to reach Waccamaw National Wildlife Refuge, as public transport does not service the refuge directly. Expect taxi fares to be around $15-$20 for the short ride to the site.
