If you are in North Charleston, find the nearest bus stop for the CARTA public transit system. You can take the DASH downtown shuttle, which is free and convenient for tourists. Board the bus at any DASH stop and ride it towards the Charleston Visitor Center. Once you arrive at the Visitor Center, transfer to the CARTA Route 10 (North Charleston to Downtown). Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Meeting St. and Broad St. From there, walk east along Broad St. until you reach East Bay St. Turn left on East Bay St. and walk a short distance to 122 E Bay St, where the Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon is located.

Once you have your bicycle, head south on Rivers Ave towards East Bay St. Follow the bike lanes along the route.
