Bus
If you're in North Charleston, you can take the CARTA bus line 10 towards downtown Charleston. Board the bus at the nearest stop and stay on for about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop at the intersection of Meeting St and Calhoun St. From there, walk north on Meeting St for about 5 minutes until you reach the South Carolina Historical Society at 100 Meeting St. The museum will be on your right.

For a scenic route, consider renting a bike from a local rental shop in North Charleston. Head south on East Montague Ave until you reach Park Ave. Turn left onto Park Ave and follow it as it curves into King St. Continue on King St towards downtown Charleston until you reach Meeting St. Turn left onto Meeting St, and you will find the South Carolina Historical Society at 100 Meeting St on your right.

If you are close to the North Charleston Coliseum, you can walk to the South Carolina Historical Society. Head east on Montague Ave until you reach East Northbridge St. Turn left onto Northbridge St, and continue until it turns into King St. Follow King St south for about 3.5 miles, then turn left onto Meeting St. The South Carolina Historical Society will be located at 100 Meeting St, just a short walk from the intersection.
