If you are starting from the Mount Pleasant Town Center, head west on S. Highway 17 toward Coleman Blvd. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Anna Knapp Blvd. Turn left onto Anna Knapp Blvd and walk for approximately 0.3 miles until it intersects with US-17. Cross US-17 and continue straight. You will then need to navigate towards the nearest bus stop to take public transportation.

From the Mount Pleasant Town Center, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the CARTA bus number 40 towards Charleston. After about a 15-minute ride, disembark at the stop near King St and Broad St. From there, walk south on King St for about 0.3 miles. The Charleston Library Society will be on your left at 164 King St.

If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Mount Pleasant. Start your ride heading towards Coleman Blvd. Follow the bike lanes along Coleman Blvd and then take a right onto Anna Knapp Blvd. Follow the road until you reach US-17, then safely cross and continue towards Charleston. After about a 4-mile ride, you will arrive at King St. Turn left onto King St, and the Charleston Library Society will be on your left.
