Cross over to the other side of US-17. Follow the pedestrian path along the highway until you reach the Mount Pleasant Town Centre. From there, take the bus #40 towards Charleston and get off at the stop near the Charleston Visitor Center. After getting off, walk to the south on Meeting Street, and you will reach the Gibbes Museum of Art at 135 Meeting St.

Head west on the bike path that runs along the waterfront, following it until you reach the bridge to Charleston. Once you cross the bridge, continue straight and merge onto East Bay Street.
