To reach Washington Square at 80 Broad St, Charleston, SC 29401, start by finding the nearest bus stop in North Charleston. The CARTA (Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority) bus service provides routes that connect North Charleston to downtown Charleston. Look for the bus routes 10, 11, or 20, which head towards the downtown area. Board the bus and ride it until you reach the stop at 'Meeting St @ Broad St.' This stop is approximately a 10-minute walk from Washington Square. Once you disembark, head east on Broad St toward East Bay St, and in about 4 minutes, you will reach the park located at 80 Broad St.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental services in North Charleston. Once you have your bike, head towards the Ashley River and follow the bike paths that lead into downtown Charleston. Follow the route along the waterfront, and continue on the bike lanes towards Broad St. After about 30 minutes of cycling, you will reach Washington Square at 80 Broad St. The area has bike racks available for you to lock your bike up securely while you enjoy the park.

If you're up for a scenic walk, you can make your way to Washington Square from central North Charleston. Start by heading towards East Montague Ave, then make your way to the North Charleston City Market area. From there, walk towards the downtown area along the main streets, keeping an eye out for the signs directing you to the historic district. This walk will take you past several shops and restaurants and will take approximately 1 hour, depending on your pace. Once you reach the downtown area, turn onto Broad St, and you will find Washington Square at 80 Broad St.
