If you are driving from Charleston, SC, head northeast on US-17 N towards Mount Pleasant. Continue on US-17 N for approximately 14 miles, then take exit 29 for SC-41 N towards Awendaw. After about 7 miles, turn right onto SC-45 N. Continue for about 8 miles until you reach the Capers Island boat landing at the intersection with Capers Island Road. Park your car here, as there are no facilities on the island itself.
