  • Walking

    Start at the Spartanburg Downtown Memorial Airport (8000 Aviation Dr, Spartanburg, SC 29303). Head southeast on Aviation Dr toward S Blackstock Rd. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto S Blackstock Rd and continue for approximately 1 mile. You'll reach the intersection with E Main St. Turn right onto E Main St and walk for about 0.6 miles until you reach the intersection with Beechwood Dr. Turn left onto Beechwood Dr, and the entrance to Edwin M. Griffin Nature Preserve will be on your right, approximately 0.4 miles down Beechwood Dr.

    From Spartanburg Transit Center (located at 150 S Spring St, Spartanburg, SC 29306), take the Route 1 bus towards the Westgate Mall. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the stop at Beechwood Dr. From the bus stop, walk north on Beechwood Dr for about 0.5 miles. The entrance to Edwin M. Griffin Nature Preserve will be on your left.
