If you are in Summerville, start by heading to the Summerville Town Square located at 200 S Main St. From there, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch the CARTA Route 10 bus towards Charleston. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the stop at King St. & Broad St. (the stop is near the intersection of King and Broad Street). From the bus stop, walk east on Broad Street for about 5 minutes, and you will find the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist at 120 Broad St. It is a beautiful building with a stunning façade.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local shop in Summerville. Start at the Summerville Town Square and ride south on Main St. until you reach the intersection with US-78. Turn left on US-78 and follow it until it becomes Meeting St in Charleston. Continue on Meeting St until you reach Broad St, then turn right. The Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist will be on your left at 120 Broad St. It is about a 30-minute bike ride.
