Public Bus
From any central location in Summerville, head to the nearest bus stop for the CARTA bus service. Take the Route 10 bus towards Folly Beach. Stay on the bus until you reach the Folly Beach stop. Once you disembark, walk east on E Ashley Ave for about 0.5 miles. The Morris Island Lighthouse will be on your left, just past the Folly Beach County Park.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Summerville and head south toward Folly Beach. Follow the bike lanes and local roads that lead to Folly Beach. Upon reaching Folly Beach, continue along E Ashley Ave, cycling for about 0.5 miles until you see the Morris Island Lighthouse on your left.

If you prefer walking, start from the Summerville Town Square and head south towards Folly Beach. It is a long walk of approximately 12 miles, which will take about 4 to 5 hours. Follow the main roads leading to Folly Beach. Once you reach the beach, walk east on E Ashley Ave for about half a mile until you arrive at the Morris Island Lighthouse.
