From Summerville, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the intersection of Main St and Dorchester Rd. Look for the CARTA bus service. Take the Route 10 bus towards Mount Pleasant. The bus will take you on a scenic ride through the area. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the Mount Pleasant Town Centre stop. From there, walk south along the main road for about 10 minutes until you reach the Mount Pleasant Historic District at 29464.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Summerville. Start your journey by heading south on Main St towards US-17. Follow US-17 north for around 10 miles. You will find a designated bike lane. Once you reach the Mount Pleasant area, look for signs directing you to the Historic District. The ride will take approximately 50 minutes depending on your pace.

For those who enjoy walking, you can start your journey at the Summerville Town Square. Head north on Main St towards US-17. Once you reach US-17, cross the street and continue heading north. After about 3 miles, you'll find the Mount Pleasant Historic District to your left. The walk should take around 1.5 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
