If you are driving from anywhere within the Big Sioux Recreation Area, head towards the nearest major road, which is Highway 34. Follow the signs directing you to Rapid City. Continue on Highway 34 until you reach the intersection with Canyon Lake Drive. Turn left onto Canyon Lake Drive and drive for approximately 1.5 miles. Sioux Park will be on your left at 733 Canyon Lake Dr, Rapid City, SD 57702. Parking is available on-site, and there is no cost for parking.

To reach Sioux Park via public transportation, you will first need to take a local bus service from the nearest bus stop within the Big Sioux Recreation Area to the Rapid City transit system. Check the schedule for the local bus to Rapid City. Once in Rapid City, transfer to the RPT (Rapid City Public Transit) bus that services Canyon Lake Drive. Get off at the nearest stop to 733 Canyon Lake Dr. From there, it's a short walk to the park entrance. Note that bus fares may apply, typically around $1.50 per ride.
