If you are already within Custer State Park, head towards the Visitor Center located at 13329 US Highway 16A, Custer, SD 57730. From the Visitor Center, take US Highway 16A East. You will pass several scenic viewpoints along the highway. Continue driving for about 2 miles until you reach the Mount Coolidge Road turnoff on your left. Follow Mount Coolidge Road for approximately 1 mile, and you will arrive at the Mount Coolidge Observation Tower, which offers stunning views of the surrounding Black Hills.
