Turn left onto Mount Rushmore Road and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and eateries along the way. Keep walking straight until you reach the entrance to Custer State Park on your right. Enter the park, and follow the signs for the Lookout Point Trailhead, which is approximately 2 miles from the entrance.
