From Mount Rushmore National Memorial, head east on SD-244 E for about 3 miles. After the Mount Rushmore entrance, turn left onto US-16A N. Follow US-16A for approximately 12 miles. You will pass through the scenic Black Hills. Look for signs directing you to the Gordon Stockade Historical Landmark. The landmark will be on your right at 12653 US-16A, Custer, SD 57730.
