If you're starting from downtown Rapid City, head west on Main Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 5th Street. Turn left onto 5th Street and walk for another 0.3 miles. You will notice the entrance to M Hill on your right, just before you reach the intersection with Mount Rushmore Road. Follow the trail signs to access the park area.

Begin your route from the corner of St. Joseph Street and 5th Street in downtown Rapid City. Head west on St. Joseph Street, then take a left onto 5th Street. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles until you see the entrance to M Hill on your right. Enjoy the bike-friendly paths leading up to the park.

To reach M Hill via public transit, locate the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Take the Route 2 bus heading towards the West Boulevard. Get off at the stop nearest to 5th Street.
