If you are starting from downtown Rapid City, head west on Main Street. Continue walking until you reach 5th Street. Turn left on 5th Street and walk until you reach Jackson Boulevard. Turn right onto Jackson Boulevard. Continue walking on Jackson Boulevard for about 1.5 miles. Canyon Lake Park will be on your left at 4181 Jackson Blvd. Look for the park entrance, which is marked and easily recognizable.

From downtown Rapid City, take the Rapid City Public Transit bus route that goes towards Canyon Lake Park. Look for the bus that has 'Jackson Blvd' as one of its stops. Board the bus and ride it until you reach the stop closest to Canyon Lake Park. Once you get off, walk a few minutes down Jackson Boulevard towards the lake, and you will see the park entrance at 4181 Jackson Blvd.

Bicycling
If you prefer to ride a bike, head west from downtown Rapid City on Main Street and find the bike paths along the way. Continue along 5th Street and then take Jackson Boulevard. You can ride directly on Jackson Boulevard, which has bike lanes, for about 1.5 miles until you reach Canyon Lake Park at 4181 Jackson Blvd. There are bike racks available at the park for you to secure your bike.
