From Falls Park, head south towards S Phillips Ave. Walk along the park path until you reach the parking area. Once you reach S Phillips Ave, turn left and continue walking until you reach the intersection with 10th St. Turn right onto 10th St and walk west until you reach S Kiwanis Ave. Turn left onto S Kiwanis Ave, and continue walking south until you reach the Great Plains Zoo at 805 S Kiwanis Ave.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can cycle from Falls Park by following the park paths to S Phillips Ave. Once there, head south on S Phillips Ave until you reach 10th St. Turn right on 10th St and continue west until you reach S Kiwanis Ave. Turn left onto S Kiwanis Ave and cycle south until you arrive at the Great Plains Zoo, located at 805 S Kiwanis Ave.

Public Transit (Bus)
For public transportation, you can take the Sioux Area Metro bus. Look for Route 2 that stops at various locations around Falls Park. Board the bus heading towards the Sioux Falls Mall. You should get off at the stop closest to the intersection of 10th St and S Kiwanis Ave. From there, it’s a short walk south on S Kiwanis Ave to reach the Great Plains Zoo at 805 S Kiwanis Ave. Note: There may be a fare for the bus, typically around $1.00.
