Getting There

    If you are traveling by car from the central area of South Dakota, begin your journey by getting onto I-90 W from your current location. Depending on where you are in South Central South Dakota, use local roads to connect to I-90 W. Continue on I-90 W for approximately 50 miles until you reach Exit 14 for US-85 N toward Spearfish. Take US-85 N for about 7 miles, and then turn right onto Spearfish Canyon Rd (SD-14A). Continue on Spearfish Canyon Rd for approximately 10 miles, and you will arrive at the Spearfish Canyon Nature Area, located at 10605 Wildlife Lane, Lead, SD 57754. Note that there is no entry fee for the nature area.
