Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from Haeundae Beach, the most popular beach in Busan. Head west on Dongbaek-ro toward Dalmaji-gil. Continue onto Jangsan-ro and merge onto the Busan Coastal Road (Route 2). Follow the coastal road for approximately 10 km until you reach the Yeongdo Bridge. Cross the bridge and take a left turn onto Namhang-dong 3(sam)-ga. Continue straight until you see the signs for Namhang Lighthouse, which will be on your right. Parking is available near the lighthouse, but be prepared to pay for parking fees, which usually range from 1,000 to 2,000 KRW per hour.

    If you prefer public transportation, start at Busan Station. Take Line 1 of the Busan Metro toward Sinpyeong and get off at Nampo Station (5 stops). From Nampo Station, transfer to Bus No. 88 or 101 at the nearby bus stop. The bus will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Namhang Lighthouse' stop. From there, it's a short walk (about 5 minutes) to the lighthouse. A single metro ticket costs around 1,300 KRW, and the bus fare is approximately 1,200 KRW.
