From Chuncheon Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located just across the street. Look for bus number 1000 or 1001, which goes towards Hwacheon. The buses run approximately every 30 minutes. Get off at the Peace Dam stop (Pyeonghwa Dam) after about 1 hour of travel. Once you arrive, follow the signs leading to the Peace Dam, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any location in Chuncheon to the Peace Dam. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Pyeonghwa Dam' (평화댐). The ride typically takes around 40 minutes, depending on traffic, and will cost approximately 30,000 to 40,000 KRW.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to explore the area, consider renting a bicycle. Start from downtown Chuncheon and head towards the Chuncheon River. Follow the riverside bike path north until you reach Hwacheon. From there, you can navigate towards the Peace Dam, which is located about 15 kilometers from the city center. Make sure to bring water and snacks, as this route can take about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your cycling speed.
