Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Daejeon, head to the Daejeon Bus Terminal (대전버스터미널). You can take subway line 1 to Daejeon Station (대전역) and then walk to the bus terminal. At the Daejeon Bus Terminal, purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Boeun (보은). The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Boeun Bus Terminal, you can take a local bus (No. 100 or No. 102) towards Songnisan National Park. Be sure to ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach the Songnisan entrance.

  • Train and Bus Combination

    Take subway line 1 from any station in Daejeon to Daejeon Station (대전역). From Daejeon Station, take a train to Boeun Station (보은역), which takes about 40 minutes. After arriving at Boeun Station, head to the nearby Boeun Bus Terminal and take a local bus (No. 100 or No. 102) that goes to Songnisan National Park. The bus ride from Boeun Bus Terminal to the park will take around 30 minutes.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Daejeon directly to Songnisan National Park. Make sure to communicate the destination as 'Songnisan National Park, 84 Beopjusa-ro, 속리산면 Boeun-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do'. The taxi ride will take approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
