If you're traveling by car, start on the Gyeongbu Expressway (Route 1) and head towards Seoul. Once you reach the city, take the exit for Cheonggyecheon, which leads you towards Jongno District. Continue straight until you reach Changgyeonggung-ro, then turn left. The palace will be on your right at 185 Changgyeonggung-ro. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared for a short walk from the nearest parking lot.

Public Transportation - Subway
To reach Changgyeonggung Palace using public transportation, make your way to the nearest subway station. If you're in Gwangju, take the KTX train to Seoul Station. From there, transfer to Line 4 (the light blue line) and head towards Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station. Get off at the station and transfer to Line 3 (the orange line), heading towards Daehwa. Alight at Anguk Station, which is the closest station to Changgyeonggung Palace. Use Exit 3, and from there, it’s a 10-minute walk to the palace entrance.

If you prefer to take a bus, you can find various bus routes heading to Jongno District from different parts of Gwandong Region. Look for buses heading to 'Jongno 3-ga' or 'Changgyeonggung Palace', which are common routes. Alight at the bus stop nearest to the palace. From there, follow the signs directing you to the palace entrance, which should take around 5-10 minutes of walking.
