Getting There

• Car

  If you’re traveling by car, start from the center of Suwon. Take Gyeongsu-daero (Route 1) heading east. Continue on Gyeongsu-daero for about 2 km. You will see Changnyongmun Gate on your left at the address 697 Gyeongsu-daero, Ji-dong, Paldal-gu. Parking may be available nearby, but be sure to check local regulations for parking fees.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  To reach Changnyongmun Gate via bus, find a bus stop near your location. Look for buses that route towards the Suwon area, specifically the ones that stop at 'Changnyongmun' or 'Gyeonggi-do Suwon Bus Terminal.' The journey will take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Upon arrival, walk about 5 minutes to the gate located at 697 Gyeongsu-daero, Ji-dong, Paldal-gu.

• Public Transportation - Subway

  If you prefer taking the subway, head to the nearest subway station and take Line 1 (the blue line) to Suwon Station. Upon exiting Suwon Station, take Exit 4. From there, you can either walk approximately 20 minutes to Changnyongmun Gate or catch a local bus that goes directly to the gate. The address is 697 Gyeongsu-daero, Ji-dong, Paldal-gu.

• Taxi

  For a more convenient option, you can take a taxi to Changnyongmun Gate. Just provide the driver with the address: 697 Gyeongsu-daero, Ji-dong, Paldal-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do. Taxi fares may vary based on your starting location, but expect to pay around 5,000 to 15,000 KRW depending on distance.
