To reach Dongmyeong-dong Café Street, start by finding the nearest bus stop. Look for buses heading towards Dong-gu district. If you are near Gwangju Bus Terminal, take Bus No. 1001 or 2005. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Dongmyeong-dong' stop. Once you get off the bus, walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will see the café street on your right, filled with various cafés and shops.

If you're near a subway station, take Line 1 (the orange line) towards 'Sangmu' station. Get off at 'Dong-gu Office' station. From the station, exit and head towards the bus stop nearby. Take Bus No. 2001 or 3000 and get off at the 'Dongmyeong-dong' stop. Walk for about 5 minutes to reach Dongmyeong-dong Café Street which will be on your right.

Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Dongmyeong-dong Café Street' in Dong-gu. The ride will generally take around 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to have the name written in Korean (동명동 카페 거리) to show the driver.

If you are staying nearby, walking to Dongmyeong-dong Café Street can be a pleasant option. From the city center, head east along the main road. You’ll pass several local shops and eateries. Keep walking straight for about 20 minutes, and you will find the café street on your left side after crossing the Dongmyeong Bridge.
