Getting There

  • Bus

    From your location in Nam-gu, head to the nearest bus stop. You can take Bus 118 or Bus 155 towards Dong-gu. The bus fare is approximately 1,200 KRW. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the 'Gwangsan-dong' stop. After getting off, walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Gwangju Castle located at 12-2 Gwangsan-dong, Dong-gu.

    If you're near a subway station, take Line 1 towards Seongdong. Get off at 'Gwangju Station' and transfer to Bus 118 or Bus 155, heading towards Dong-gu. The bus fare is around 1,200 KRW. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Gwangsan-dong' stop. Walk straight for about 10 minutes to reach Gwangju Castle.
