From Jeju City, head to the Jeju Intercity Bus Terminal. You can take a taxi or walk to the terminal if you're nearby. Once at the terminal, look for bus number 202 heading towards Hallim. The bus ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Make sure to have some cash for the bus fare. After arriving at the Hallim bus stop, exit the bus and walk towards the beach. Hyeopjae Beach is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop, heading west on Hallim-ro until you reach the beach.

If you prefer a more direct route, taking a taxi from Jeju City to Hyeopjae Beach is a convenient option. Simply ask the taxi driver to take you to 'Hyeopjae Beach' (in Korean: 협재해수욕장). This will take around 40 minutes depending on traffic. Ensure you have the address: 329-10 Hallim-ro, Hallim-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do, ready to show the driver.

Bicycle
For the more adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Jeju City. Head towards Hallim on the coastal road, which offers scenic views. The ride is about 15 kilometers and will take roughly 1 hour. Follow the signs towards Hallim and then look for directions to Hyeopjae Beach. Remember to wear a helmet and obey local traffic rules.
