Car
If you are driving, you can reach Deogyusan National Park from various locations in North Jeolla Province. From Jeonju, take National Route 19 towards Imsil. After about 40 km, merge onto National Route 24 and continue for approximately 30 km. Look for signs for Deogyusan National Park as you approach Muju-gun. The park entrance is located at Anseong-myeon, Muju-gun. Parking is available near the entrance, but be aware that there may be a parking fee of around 2,000 KRW.

Public Transportation
To reach Deogyusan National Park using public transportation, take a bus from Jeonju Intercity Bus Terminal to Muju. Buses run regularly and the journey takes about 1.5 hours. Upon arriving at Muju, you can take a local bus or a taxi to the Deogyusan National Park entrance in Anseong-myeon. The local bus is infrequent, so a taxi might be a better option, costing around 15,000 KRW. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time to plan your return trip.
