Getting There

  • Subway

    Start your journey at any subway station in Seoul and make your way to the Achasan Station (Line 5). From the station, take Exit 2. After exiting, walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection. Turn left onto Walkerhill-ro. Continue walking for approximately 1 kilometer, and you will see signs directing you to Achasanseong Fortress. The walk to the fortress will take you through a pleasant neighborhood.

  • Bus

    You can take a bus to get to Achasanseong Fortress. If you are near a major bus stop, look for bus routes 2224 or 3011. Board the bus and get off at the 'Achasan' bus stop. From there, walk along the road for about 300 meters, and you will find the entrance to Achasanseong Fortress.

    If you are already in the vicinity of the Gwangjin District, you can simply walk to Achasanseong Fortress. Head towards Walkerhill-ro, which is a main road in the area.
