Getting There

  • Subway

    Start your journey at any subway station in Seoul. Make your way to Line 3 (the Orange Line). If you're at Seoul Station, take Line 4 (the Blue Line) to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park, and transfer to Line 3. Travel towards Daehwa Station. Get off at the last station, 'Daehwa'.

  • Bus

    From Daehwa Station, exit the subway and look for bus stop number 220. Take bus number 34 or 55, which will take you closer to the starting point of the Baegundae hike. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at 'Bukhansan National Park Entrance' stop.

  • Walking

    After disembarking from the bus at the Bukhansan National Park Entrance, follow the signs for the Baegundae trail. The trailhead is located just a short walk from the bus stop.
