Start your journey by heading to the nearest subway station, which is likely to be either Gyeongbokgung Station (Line 3) or City Hall Station (Line 1). If you're at Gyeongbokgung Station, take Exit 2 and walk straight until you reach Gyeongbokgung Palace. From there, you can take a short stroll towards the west to reach Sinmumun Gate. If you're at City Hall Station, take Exit 1, and walk north towards Deoksugung Palace until you reach the intersection, then head east along Sajik-ro.
Bus
You can also take a bus to reach Sinmumun Gate. Look for bus stops near your location and check for buses that head to 'Gyeongbokgung' or 'Seoul City Hall.' Get off at the nearest stop to the gate. From there, walk towards Sajik-ro and you will find Sinmumun Gate located at 161 Sajik-ro, Jongno-gu.
