Start by taking Line 1 (the Blue Line) from any central station in Seoul, such as Seoul Station or City Hall Station. Head towards Incheon Station. Once you arrive at Incheon Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the Incheon Bus Terminal. At the terminal, look for a bus that goes to Ganghwa Island. The bus you need is number 3000 or 3001. It will take you directly to Ganghwa-gun. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. After arriving at Ganghwa Bus Terminal, look for local buses or taxis that can take you to Dongmak Beach. Local buses will typically have signs in both Korean and English.

If you prefer to go directly from Seoul to Ganghwa Island by bus, you can take an express bus from the Dongseoul Bus Terminal. Purchase a ticket to Ganghwa-gun. The bus ride will take around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Ganghwa Bus Terminal, you can either take a local bus or a taxi to Dongmak Beach. If taking a local bus, check for buses heading towards 'Hwado-myeon' or 'Dongmak Beach'.

If you prefer a more direct and comfortable option, you can take a taxi from any location in Seoul to Dongmak Beach. This option may be more expensive, but it will take you directly to the beach without the need to transfer. Just provide the driver with the address: '7-3 Dongmak-ri, Hwado-myeon, Ganghwa-gun, Incheon'. The ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic conditions.
