Getting There

    If you're starting from Seoul Station, take Line 1 (the blue line) toward Incheon. After 4 stops, get off at Jongno 3-ga Station. Transfer to Line 5 (the purple line) and travel 1 stop to Jongno 3-ga Station. Exit through Exit 11. Walk straight for about 400 meters, and you will see Jongmyo Shrine on your left at 157 Jong-ro.

    From Gyeongbokgung Palace, walk to the Gyeongbokgung Station bus stop. Take bus number 109, 172, or 601. After 6 stops, get off at the Jongmyo Shrine bus stop. The shrine will be directly in front of you; just cross the street to enter.

  • Walking

    If you're near Insadong, walk towards the north on Insadong-gil street. Continue straight until you reach Jongno 1-ga. Turn left and walk for about 300 meters. You will find Jongmyo Shrine on your right at 157 Jong-ro.
