If you are in the heart of Myeong-dong, head towards Myeongdong-gil street. Walk along Myeongdong-gil, which is the main shopping street. Keep an eye out for the large signs and the bustling atmosphere of shops and street food. Continue walking straight for about 5 to 10 minutes. You'll notice a large open square on your left, and just beyond that, you will see the distinctive Gothic architecture of Myeongdong Cathedral at 74 Myeongdong-gil. The entrance is clearly marked, and you can stroll through the square to take in the surroundings before entering the cathedral.

If you prefer to take public transportation, the nearest subway station is Myeongdong Station (Line 4). From the station, take Exit 6. Once you exit, walk straight for about 5 minutes along the street until you reach Myeongdong-gil. Turn right onto Myeongdong-gil, and the cathedral will be just a few minutes' walk ahead on your left at 74 Myeongdong-gil. Note that using the subway will incur a fare of approximately 1,250 KRW (about $1) for a single journey.

You can also take a local bus to get closer to the cathedral. Look for bus stops that serve routes 100, 105, or 421. Board the bus and ride for a few stops until you reach the Myeongdong Station. From there, follow the walking directions mentioned above to reach the cathedral. Bus fares typically range from 1,200 KRW to 2,000 KRW (approximately $1 to $1.50) depending on the distance.
