    From your current location, find the nearest subway station. Take Line 1 (the Blue Line) towards Seodongtan Station. Get off at Jonggak Station (3 stops). Use Exit 3 and walk straight for about 500 meters. You will see the entrance to Jongmyo Shrine on your left.

    Locate the nearest bus stop and take Bus 151 or 162. Ride the bus until you reach the Jongmyo Shrine stop. After getting off, walk straight for about 100 meters; the entrance to Jongmyo Shrine will be ahead on your right.

  • Walking

    If you are within walking distance, start at the nearest major landmark such as Gyeongbokgung Palace. From there, head east towards Jong-ro. Continue on Jong-ro for about 1 kilometer until you reach Jongmyo Shrine, which will be on your left.

  • Taxi

    You can also take a taxi. Simply tell the driver 'Jongmyo Shrine' or show them the address: Jong-ro, 157 종묘관리소. The taxi will drop you off at the entrance of the shrine.
