Once you reach Jangheung-gun, look for local signs directing you to the Cheongwansan parking area.

To reach Cheongwansan using public transport, start by taking a bus from Gwangju to Jangheung-gun. Buses operate from Gwangju's Bus Terminal to Jangheung-gun and run approximately every hour. The journey takes around 1 hour. Once you arrive at Jangheung-gun, transfer to a local bus heading towards Cheongwansan. The local bus may operate less frequently, so check the schedule ahead of time. The local bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Be sure to have some cash on hand for bus fares, which typically cost around 2,000 KRW for each leg of the journey.
