If you are driving, start by navigating towards Damyang-gun. From Gwangju, take the Honam Expressway (Route 25) towards Mokpo. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit toward Damyang. Continue on Route 29 for about 10 kilometers, following signs for Damyang-eup. Once you reach Damyang-eup, look for local signs directing you to Gwanbangjerim Forest. There is parking available near the forest entrance.

For public transportation, take a bus from Gwangju to Damyang. You can catch the bus at the Gwangju Bus Terminal; various buses operate this route, and it usually takes about 40-50 minutes. Upon arriving at the Damyang Bus Terminal, you can take a local taxi or walk to Gwanbangjerim Forest, which is approximately 5 kilometers away. A taxi will cost around 5,000-6,000 KRW.

You can also take a train to the nearest station, which is Jeongeup Station. From Jeongeup, take a taxi directly to Gwanbangjerim Forest. The taxi ride will take around 30 minutes and cost about 20,000 KRW. Alternatively, you can take a bus from Jeongeup Station to Damyang, and then switch to a local bus or taxi to reach the forest.
