    From Suwon Station, take Line 1 (the dark blue line) in the direction of Seodongtan. Travel for 20 minutes and get off at the last stop, which is the City Hall Station. Transfer to Line 2 (the green line) towards Gangnam Station. After 4 stops, get off at Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station. Finally, transfer to Line 5 (the purple line) towards Macheon Station and get off at Jongno 3-ga Station. Exit the station at Exit 1, walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach Yulgok-ro, then turn left. The Seoul Museum of Korean Folk Music will be on your right at 96 Yulgok-ro.

    From Suwon Station, head to the bus terminal located adjacent to the station. Take bus number 3000, which goes directly to Seoul. After approximately 1 hour, get off at the National Museum of Korea. From there, walk to the nearest subway station, which is Ichon Station (about 10 minutes on foot). Take Line 4 (the light blue line) towards Dongdaemun Station. After 4 stops, transfer at Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station to Line 5 (the purple line) towards Macheon Station. Get off at Jongno 3-ga Station, exit at Exit 1, and walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach Yulgok-ro. The museum will be on your right.
