If you are coming from the Pyeongchang Interchange on the Gyeongbu Expressway (Expressway 1), take the exit for Pyeongchang and follow the signs to Odaesan National Park. After approximately 30 minutes of driving, you will reach Sangwonsa. Parking is available on-site.

From there, it's a short walk to the temple itself.
