From Alicante, head to the main bus station, Estación de Autobuses de Alicante. You can take Bus Line 1 (C-1) from the city center to the bus station. At the Estación de Autobuses, purchase a ticket to Villajoyosa. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Villajoyosa bus station, exit and walk towards Avenida del Puerto. Turn left onto Avenida del Puerto and continue straight until you reach the beach area.

Go to the Alicante train station, Estación de Renfe Alicante. You can take Tram Line 1 (TRAM) from the city center to the station. Once at the train station, buy a ticket to Villajoyosa. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Villajoyosa station, follow the signs towards the beach. Head down Carrer de la Vila Joiosa and continue until you reach the beach area, where Playa El Xarco is located.

Walking from Villajoyosa
If you are already in Villajoyosa, you can walk to Playa El Xarco from the city center. Start at Plaza de la Vila and head south towards the beach. Follow the promenade (Paseo Marítimo) until you reach Calle del Charco. Turn right onto Calle del Charco, and continue straight until you arrive at Playa El Xarco. This walk will take around 15-20 minutes.
