    Bus

    Start at the central bus station, Estación de Autobuses de Alicante. Take bus line C-6 towards the airport, but get off at the stop 'Alto de la Cueva'. From there, transfer to line 22, which will take you towards the Castillo de Sant Ferran. Get off at the stop 'Castillo de San Fernando'. The castle will be a short walk from the bus stop.

    Head to the nearest tram station, 'Luceros'. Take line 1 (the light blue line) towards 'La Marina'. Change at the station 'Mercado' and transfer to line 3 (the green line) towards 'El Campello'. Get off at 'Cabo de las Huertas' and walk uphill to reach Castell de Sant Ferran. Follow the path signs; it's approximately a 20-minute walk.
