Walking
From Puerto de Alicante, head northeast towards Avenida de la Estación. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle del Teatro. Turn left onto Calle del Teatro and walk straight until you reach the junction with Avenida de la Libertad. Turn right onto Avenida de la Libertad and continue straight until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Calle de la Reina. Cross the street at the lights and continue straight onto Calle de la Cruz. After about 5 minutes, you will see the signs directing you to Castell de Sant Ferran. Follow the path uphill, which will lead you directly to the castle entrance.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From Puerto de Alicante, walk to the nearest bus stop on Avenida de la Estación. Catch Bus Line 21 towards 'San Gabriel', and ride for about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Castillo de Santa Bárbara' and transfer to Bus Line 9. Take Bus Line 9 towards 'Plaza de los Luceros' and get off at the stop 'Calle Tossal'. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk uphill to Castell de Sant Ferran. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions if needed. The total cost of the bus ride is approximately €1.45.
