    If you are starting from Plaza Alta, walk southwest along Calle José María Alcaraz y Alenda. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida de Europa. Turn left onto Avenida de Europa and keep walking until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida de la Libertad. Follow this road for about 700 meters until you reach Puerta de Palmas Bridgehead.

    From the Badajoz Railway Station, exit the station and turn right onto Calle de la Estación. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida de Europa. Turn left onto Avenida de Europa and continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida de la Libertad. Continue walking for approximately 400 meters to reach the Puerta de Palmas Bridgehead.
