Walking
If you are starting from the Badajoz Cathedral (Catedral de Badajoz), exit the cathedral and head northeast on Calle de la Soledad towards Plaza de España. Continue straight for about 400 meters until you reach Plaza de España. From there, take Calle de las Cadenas and walk for approximately 300 meters. You will arrive at Plaza de San José, which is a lovely town square with a relaxing atmosphere.

From the main bus terminal in Badajoz (Estación de Autobuses), take bus number 3 towards 'La Universidad'. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Calle Francisco Pizarro'. From there, walk straight along Calle Francisco Pizarro until you reach the intersection with Calle de las Cadenas. Turn right onto Calle de las Cadenas and continue for about 200 meters to reach Plaza de San José.

If you are near the Puente de Palmas (Palms Bridge), walk towards the city center. Cross the bridge and follow the road until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Avenida de Elvas.
